The Bennington Badgers overwhelmed the visiting Burke Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Badgers meet the Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE) in a B District challenge, on Monday, September 30. Bennington will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The go into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Blair (Blair, NE).

The Bulldogs (0-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Benson (Omaha, NE). The Bunnies go into the A District challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Benson held off Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE), 16-5, in a non-league challenge.
