The Carrollton Trojans softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Haralson County Rebels to 1 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexander for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28. Carrollton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 9-2 league loss to East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-9.
With the loss, Haralson County moves to 12-8 on the season. The Rebels host Bremen (Bremen, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a 1A D-I Region 6 battle on Monday, September 30. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 14-7. Bremen won 11-1 in their recent league battle against Heard County (Franklin, GA)
