The Centralia Panthers overwhelmed the visiting McDonald County Mustangs softball squad by a count of 13-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the South Shelby Cardinals (Shelbina, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Centralia will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Mark Twain (Center, MO).

The Mustangs (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora (Aurora, MO). The Houn Dawgs go into the non-league challenge with a 2-17 record. In their last challenge, Aurora was routed by Monett (Monett, MO), 15-5, in a league challenge.
