The Stars now possess a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Richfield for a Tri-Metro bout on Tuesday, October 1. Academy of Holy Angels will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Kennedy (Bloomington, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Mahtomedi drops to 20-2 on the campaign. The Zephyrs travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to clash with the Spartans in a Metro East bout on Wednesday, October 2.
