Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals (New Orleans, LA) and the host Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA), observed Academy of the Sacred Heart's volleyball team hold off Episcopal of Acadiana by a tally of 2-1.

The Cardinals (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Edna Karr got by East Jefferson (Metairie, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Falcons meet the Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints (Grand Coteau, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 30. Episcopal of Acadiana will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Saints enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Comeaux (Lafayette, LA).
