Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) and the visiting Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), observed Allen County-Scottsville's volleyball team hold off Lincoln County by a count of 2-1.

The Patriots (18-15) will now prepare for their contest against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Whitley County got by Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 28. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 0-17 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 13-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Harlan County (Harlan, KY).
