Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Knoxville improves its record to 15-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Comets go into the test with a record of 6-14.
The Little Cyclones now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Dodge for a Southeast test on Saturday, September 28. Ames will face a Dodgers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA). The Dodgers record now stands at 4-8.
