In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Arroyo Grande Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hoover Patriots.
The Eagles (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Exeter (Exeter, CA). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Exeter was beaten by Reedley (Reedley, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots meet the Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA).
