In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Boone Toreadors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Fort Dodge Dodgers.

The Toreadors (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Ames (Ames, IA). The Little Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Ames edged Mason City (Mason City, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dodgers meet the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Fort Dodge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA).
