The Deering Rams volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Brunswick Dragons to 0 in the Rams league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yarmouth for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 2. Deering will confront a Clippers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 7-1.
The Dragons (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils go into the Class A game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Lewiston gained a win over Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 3-2, in a non-league game.
