The Canton Cobras volleyball squad (Canton, MI), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI)

With the win, St. Mary's Prep improves its record to 16-10 on the season. The Eaglets host Saline (Saline, MI) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 9-5. Saline won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI)

The Cobras now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brighton for a Kensington Lakes - West battle on Tuesday, October 1. Canton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lake Fenton (Linden, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.
