Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) and the visiting Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), observed Central Lafourche's volleyball team hold off Captain Shreve by a count of 2-1.

The Trojans (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Benton (Benton, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Benton got by Parkway (Bossier City, LA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Gators battle the Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) in a Division I District 1 contest, on Monday, September 30. Captain Shreve will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 7-11 record after their 3-1 league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA).
