With the win, Denver improves its record to 30-1 on the season. The Cyclones host Tripoli (Tripoli, IA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-6. Tripoli won 3-1 in their recent league test against Riceville (Riceville, IA)

The Vikings now own a 7-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Tama County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. Vinton-Shellsburg will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-15.
