In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting University Lab Cubs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Eleanor McMain Mustangs.

The Cubs (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Scotlandville beat Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Eleanor McMain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA).
