Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Glendora Tartans (Glendora, CA) and the host Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA), observed Glendora's volleyball team top Esperanza by a tally of 2-0.

The Tartans (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Golden Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, El Dorado beat Foothill (Santa Ana, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Aztecs meet the Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 3. Esperanza will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 14-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Cypress (Cypress, CA).
