With the win, St. Ansgar improves its record to 21-5 on the season. The Saints travel to West Hancock (Britt, IA) to encounter the Eagles in a test on Saturday, September 28. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-13. West Hancock lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA)

The Cardinals now own a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton-Dumont/CAL for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will encounter a squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA). The record now stands at 10-7.
