In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Hickory Flat Rebels volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Smithville Seminoles.
The Rebels (11-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 34-2 record. In their last challenge, Ingomar beat East Union (Blue Springs, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Seminoles meet the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Smithville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, MS).
