Kansas High School Volleyball - St. Mary's-Colgan over Labette County

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers (Pittsburg, KS) and the host Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS), observed St. Mary's-Colgan's volleyball team top Labette County by a tally of 2-0.

The Panthers (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Independence, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Independence beat Labette County (Altamont, KS), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Grizzlies meet the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans (Cedar Vale, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 28. Labette County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 11-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Udall (Udall, KS).
