The Lafayette County Huskers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Marshall Owls to 0 in the Huskers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskers now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cole Camp for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. Lafayette County will play a Blue Birds team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Stover (Stover, MO). The Blue Birds record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Marshall drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO) to play the Hornets in a non-league outing on Monday, September 30. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 12-2. Chillicothe won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO)
