The Linn-Mar Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats to 1 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Davenport West for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 3. Linn-Mar will play a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-17.

With the loss, Marshalltown drops to 8-12 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 11-2. Cedar Falls won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA)
