In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host St. Paul Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles.
The Wildcats (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against O'Neill (O'Neill, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, O'Neill lost by Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Lutheran-Northeast will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE).
