Michigan High School Volleyball - Traverse City West over Mt. Pleasant

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Traverse City West Titans (Traverse City, MI) and the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI), observed Traverse City West's volleyball team top Mt. Pleasant by a count of 2-0.

The Titans (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Bay City Western notched a victory over Midland (Midland, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Oilers battle the Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI) in a Saginaw Valley contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Lightning enter the contest with a 16-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).
