The North Central Knights volleyball squad (Bassett, NE), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE)

With the win, Mullen improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE) to encounter the Coyotes in a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. The Coyotes go into the battle with a record of 8-8. Anselmo-Merna won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Arthur County (Arthur, NE)

The Knights now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilbert for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28.
