Kansas High School Volleyball - Nemaha Central over Wamego

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) and the visiting Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS), observed Nemaha Central's volleyball team top Wamego by a count of 2-0.

The Thunder (25-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Marys (St. Marys, KS). The Bears enter the Big East contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, St. Marys was knocked off by Wamego (Wamego, KS), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Red Raiders battle the Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 28. Wamego will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 13-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Riley County (Riley, KS).
