The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks enter the contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was tipped by Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) in a contest, on Saturday, September 28. Newell-Fonda will attempt to upgrade on its 18-7 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA).
