The North Saxons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Rancho Cucamonga Cougars to 0 in the Saxons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Saxons now have a 19-5 record. They play next when they travel to Peninsula for a Pioneer outing on Tuesday, October 1. North will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South (Torrance, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Rancho Cucamonga drops to 14-15 on the campaign. The Cougars host St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA) to play the Regents in a Baseline outing on Monday, September 30. The Regents come into the outing with a record of 2-15. St. Lucy's lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against El Dorado (Placentia, CA)
