In Thursday's league bout, the visiting Greenwood Gators football squad scored a big 42-0 victory over the Christian County Colonels.
In their next game, the Gators face the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Friday, October 14. Greenwood will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Purples enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 28-24 league win over South Warren (Bowling Green, KY).
The Colonels (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against South Warren (Bowling Green, KY). The Spartans enter the 5A District 2 bout with a 3-3 record.
