Texas High School Football - Cypress Woods trounces Cypress Lakes

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Cypress Woods Wildcats football squad scored a big 42-6 victory over the Cypress Lakes Spartans.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 match, on Friday, October 7. Cypress Woods will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Lobos enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 39-36 league loss to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX).

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Panthers enter the 6A Region II District 16 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Cypress Springs was crushed by Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX), 55-29, in a league match.
