North Carolina High School Football - Middle Creek topples Green Hope

The Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) football defeated the host Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 49-21 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) in a 4A East Conference 29 bout, on Friday, October 7. Middle Creek will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Catamounts enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 21-20 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).

The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps enter the 4A East Conference 29 bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Cary lost by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 42-14, in a league bout.
