The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies come into the 3A/4A West Conference 60 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Hough nipped West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 52-6, in a league challenge.

The Titans now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Chambers for a 3A/4A West Conference 60 challenge on Friday, October 7. Hopewell will meet a Cougars team coming off a 16-7 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
