Virginia High School Football - Parry McCluer can't get by Madison County

The Madison County Mountaineers held off the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues football team by a count of 28-21 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Madison County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Mountaineers host Clarke County (Berryville, VA) to confront the Eagles in a Shenandoah outing on Friday, October 7. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Clarke County won 21-7 in their recent non-league outing against Lightridge (Aldie, VA)

With the loss, Parry McCluer moves to 1-4 on the season. The Fighting blues host Narrows (Narrows, VA) to confront the Green Waves in a Pioneer outing on Friday, October 7. The Green Waves go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Narrows won 29-27 in their recent non-league outing against Holston (Damascus, VA)
