North Carolina High School Football - Riverside-Martin topples Perquimans

September 29, 2022: Hertford, NC 27944

The Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) football defeated the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), 43-16 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Knights face the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) in a 1A East Conference 2 bout, on Friday, October 14. Riverside-Martin will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record.

The Pirates (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers enter the 1A East Conference 2 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Washington County lost by Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC), 41-20, in a league bout.
