Bainbridge Spartans (Bainbridge Island, WA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Port Angeles Roughriders (Port Angeles, WA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Olympic Trojans (Bremerton, WA) in a 2A Olympic challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Bainbridge will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to North Kitsap (Poulsbo, WA).

The Roughriders now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Olympic for a 2A Olympic challenge on Tuesday, October 18.
