The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN) and the visiting Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish (Knoxville, TN), saw McMinn County's soccer squad knock off Knoxville Catholic by a count of 4-1.

The Cherokees now hold a 7-4 record.

With the loss, Knoxville Catholic drops to 4-11 on the season. The Fighting irish host Girls Prep (Chattanooga, TN) to meet the Bruisers in a D II-AA East test on Tuesday, October 4. The Bruisers come into the test with a record of 9-2. Girls Prep won 1-0 in their recent league test against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN)
