The Rio Mesa Spartans football team (Oxnard, CA), was tipped 28-27 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA)
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Ventura nipped San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 26-8, in a league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oxnard for a challenge on Thursday, October 6.
