The South Pointe Stallions thwarted the host Catawba Ridge Copperheads football team by a count of 27-7 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, South Pointe upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Stallions host Lancaster (Lancaster, SC) to confront the Bruins in a outing on Thursday, October 6. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Lancaster lost 24-18 in their recent non-league outing against Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC)
With the loss, Catawba Ridge moves to 0-4 on the season.
