The Highland Hornets topped the host Bernalillo Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 4.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils enter the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Sandia Prep was knocked off by Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
