In Thursday's non-league contest, the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Nighthawks battle the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a contest, on Thursday, October 13. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

With the loss, Cienega moves to 3-6 on the year. The Bobcats host Cholla (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Chargers in a contest on Tuesday, October 4. The Chargers go into the contest with a record of 0-2. Cholla lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ)
