The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) and the visiting Ellicott Thunderhawks (Calhan, CO), saw Manitou Springs's soccer squad knock off Ellicott by a count of 3-0.

The Mustangs now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Salida for a 3A Tri-Peaks test on Thursday, October 6.

With the loss, Ellicott drops to 1-5 on the season. The Thunderhawks travel to St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Pirates in a 2A Black Forest test on Tuesday, October 4. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 0-9. St. Mary's lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Machebeuf (Denver, CO)
