Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA) and the visiting Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA), witnessed Greenbrier's softball squad prevail over Screven County by a count of 9-1.

The Wolfpack now sport a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Harlem for a non-league match on Thursday, October 6. Greenbrier will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-3.

With the loss, Screven County moves to 8-12 on the season. The Gamecocks host Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, October 3. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 7-11. Johnson County lost 11-3 in their recent league match against Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA)
