In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Washburn Millers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Edison Tommies.
The Millers (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Coon Rapids lost by Champlin Park (Champlin, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Tommies clash with the North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) in a Minneapolis City battle, on Monday, October 3. Edison will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record.
