The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA) and the host Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA), saw Elite Scholars Academy's volleyball squad beat Hampton by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Elite Scholars Academy upgrades its record to 15-3 on the year. The Royal Knights host McNair (Atlanta, GA) to play the Mustangs in a 2A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 13-16.
The Hornets now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jonesboro for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 29. Hampton will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Forest Park (Forest Park, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 27-7.
