The Hoover Tornados volleyball team (Glendale, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA)

The Nitros (16-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawkins (Los Angeles, CA). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Hawkins defeated Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tornados meet the Pasadena Bulldogs (Pasadena, CA) in a Pacific challenge, on Wednesday, October 5. Hoover will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA).
