The Providence Catholic Celtics volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hinsdale South Hornets to 0 in the Celtics non-league victory on Thursday.
The Celtics now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrew for a non-league game on Friday, September 30. Providence Catholic will meet a Thunderbolts team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 8-12.
The Hornets (8-14) will now prepare for their game against Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Warriors enter the West Suburban- Gold game with a 18-2 record. In their last game, Willowbrook defeated Glenbard East (Lombard, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
