The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) and the visiting St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA), saw Iota's volleyball squad beat St. Louis Catholic by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Iota upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Sulphur (Sulphur, LA) to play the Golden Tors in a non-league bout on Monday, October 10. The Golden Tors go into the bout with a record of 10-6.
The Saints now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1.
