The Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) volleyball tipped the host Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Shamokin Area upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Sugar Valley Rural (Loganton, PA) to play the Phoenix in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 4. The Phoenix go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Sugar Valley Rural lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA)

The Lancers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Northeast Bradford for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 8.
