In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Wall Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Newell Irrigators.

The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Kougars come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Kadoka went down by Jones County (Murdo, SD), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Irrigators encounter the Kadoka Kougars (Kadoka, SD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 1. Newell will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Kougars come into the battle with a 6-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Jones County (Murdo, SD).
