Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Fighting Irish battle the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 3. Seneca will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record.

With the loss, Putnam County drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Dwight (Dwight, IL) to battle the Trojans in a Tri-County match on Tuesday, October 18. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 3-15.
