The Seymour Wildcats topped the visiting Torrington Raiders volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Wildcats now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxford for a Naugatuck Valley test on Friday, September 30. Seymour will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 3-1 league win over Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-3.

The Raiders (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Eagles enter the Naugatuck Valley test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Kennedy was knocked off by Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT), 3-0, in a league test.
