In Friday's league game, the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) football team were victorious over the visiting Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS), by a score of 47-26.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS). The Troopers come into the 3A Region 4 game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Mooreville knocked off Smithville (Smithville, MS), 37-6, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Choctaw County for a 3A Region 4 game on Friday, October 6. Aberdeen will meet a Chargers team coming off a 44-20 league win over East Webster (Maben, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
